Ms. Rebecca Osam, CEO of Reflo Company Ltd, visited the University of Ghana on May 28, 2024. As a key brand partner, Reflo supported the Bossette Conference and Pad Bank launch, organised by the Student Representative Council’s Women’s Commission.

The event, themed “Women Inspiring Women: Unleashing Potentials and Birthing Possibilities,” focused on advocacy, education, and engagement about menstrual hygiene and health. Ms. Rebecca delivered an inspiring message about Reflo’s mission: “Reflo Company Ltd is dedicated to providing quality sanitary pads at affordable prices, so you can focus on being your best self—unstoppable, unapologetic, and unbridled.”

Sharing her entrepreneurial journey, Ms. Rebecca highlighted the importance of perseverance. “If you want to run your own business, whether on a small or large scale, challenges will come. Welcome these challenges. Anything worth doing requires facing them head-on and putting your all into it,” she advised. She candidly revealed that she had restarted her company three times over the past decade. “Only three years ago did we get on the right footing, and now we’re seeing progress. When facing obstacles, dig deep within yourself because they shape you. If you quit, it will never happen.”

Ms. Rebecca emphasised the critical role of quality menstrual products in women’s empowerment. “Providing quality sanitary pads allows women to go about their days comfortably, leveling the playing field with men,” she noted. She urged the audience to focus on long-term goals and view challenges as growth opportunities. “Face the challenges, embrace them, and you will conquer,” she inspired.

As the event reached its zenith, Ms. Rebecca graciously fielded questions, offering invaluable insights, and distributed free Reflo’s sanitary pads to all present.

Ms. Rebecca Osam’s presence at the Bossette Conference not only illuminated the importance of menstrual hygiene but also ignited a spirit of resilience and empowerment among attendees. As the echoes of her empowering words lingered, it was evident that she had left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of hearing her speak.
